Refund Policy
At DesignBub, our main objective is to satisfy every client while offering outstanding design and digital services. While we work hard to meet and above your expectations, we recognize that things can happen and have created a clear and comprehensive refund policy to handle any potential problems. To make sure you are completely informed before using our services, please carefully read our policy.
Ownership of Creative Assets
DesignBub retains sole ownership of all intellectual property it produces, including but not limited to graphics, material, source code, and design components. Regardless of the outcome of any refund requests, this policy is applicable. Please be aware that all creative assets created for your project will not be transferred or given back to you, even if you want to seek a refund. Before committing, we advise potential clients to look over our portfolio and assess our work. This guarantees your confidence in the caliber and range of services we offer.
Project Confirmation and Payment Terms
Before starting any project, it is crucial to have a thorough understanding of the project’s scope and requirements. To facilitate this, we require the following:
- Comprehensive Scope Document: A detailed scope document outlining all project requirements and objectives must be prepared and agreed upon before work begins. This document serves as the foundation for the project and helps prevent misunderstandings or miscommunications.
- Advance Payment: For the majority of our projects, we require a 100% advance payment before initiating any work. This policy ensures that both parties are committed to the project and helps mitigate risks associated with cancellations or disputes. However, Web Development projects may have different payment terms, which will be specified in the project agreement.
Refund Policy
Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent, reflecting our commitment to quality and client satisfaction. Please review the following points carefully:
- No Refund After Work Commencement: Once work has commenced following your confirmation and payment, we do not offer refunds. This policy applies to all projects, including web design, graphic design, digital marketing, and other services. If you choose to withdraw from the project after work has started, any payments made will not be refunded. We initiate work promptly after receiving confirmation to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Project Cancellation by Client: If you decide to postpone, cancel, or delay the project after work has begun, you will be responsible for paying for the completed work. Any expenses incurred for domains, hosting, SSL certificates, or other services already paid for will be retained by DesignBub. This ensures that we are compensated for the resources and time invested in the project up to the point of cancellation.
- Digital Marketing Services: Payments for digital marketing services, including Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Marketing (SMM), Google Ads, and other related services, are non-refundable. These payments cover the immediate setup and initiation of services, which are applied as soon as the project begins. Due to the nature of these services, refunds are not feasible once the setup is complete.
- SEO Services: For SEO services, we provide monthly work reports to track progress. Refunds are only applicable if we fail to deliver these reports as promised. However, refunds will not be granted if you change your initial project requirements after they have been approved. SEO is a long-term service, and changes to the project scope can impact results and effectiveness.
- Domain, Hosting, and SSL Fees: Payments made for domain registration, hosting, and SSL certificates are non-refundable once these services have been initiated. Should you need to transfer a domain, a redemption fee equal to 50% of the total domain payment will apply. This policy is in place to cover the costs associated with setting up and managing these services.
- Client Delays: If there is no response from you within 40 days of order placement, the order will be automatically cancelled. Any payments made up to that point will become void. We are not liable for any loss of data or delays resulting from the client’s inaction. It is essential to maintain timely communication to ensure the smooth progression of your project.
Account Suspension and Termination
- Outstanding Balances: Services may be suspended or terminated for outstanding invoices that are over 14 days past due. Services will not be restored until the outstanding sum has been paid in full. We reserve the right to pursue collection of all incurred costs, including attorney and arbitration expenses, in the event that payment is not received.
- Hosting Issues: DesignBub is not responsible for website security issues arising from client actions or inactions. Our responsibility is limited to ensuring hosting security. If clients mishandle their websites, use outdated information, or fail to update website structures or plugins, we will not be liable for any resulting issues. For ongoing support, maintenance packages are available.
Backup Data and Hosting Renewal
- Data Loss: If hosting services are not renewed within 7 days of the expiration date, backup data will be deleted from our servers. We will not provide further backups after this period. To prevent data loss and avoid inconvenience, we recommend renewing your hosting services promptly and keeping a backup of your data independently.
Chargeback Policy
- Chargebacks: The ordered services will be suspended until the outstanding amount and any related reimbursement fees are paid if a chargeback is started through a bank or credit company. Refund requests that are submitted without a good justification are regarded as fraudulent. Legal action is a right reserved by DesignBub in the event of fraudulent chargebacks. Please speak with our team immediately about any billing concerns to prevent such problems.
Contract Breach
- Client Breach: If you breach the contract, a kill fee of 20% of the total project cost specified in the contract will be payable within 10 days of cancellation. This fee compensates DesignBub for the work and resources invested in the project up to the point of cancellation.
- Company Breach: If DesignBub breaches the contract, you will be entitled to receive a refund as specified in the project or contract invoice. This ensures that you are fairly compensated in the event that we fail to meet our contractual obligations.
Refund Process
If a refund is approved, the payment will be processed through the same medium used for the original payment. Refunds will be issued within 30 business days of approval. The following methods are accepted for refunds:
