Privacy Policy
This policy explains how DesignBub collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, use the client portal or purchase creative and digital services.
We collect only the information reasonably needed to answer inquiries, manage projects and orders, operate our website and protect our business. We do not sell personal information for money. This policy is read together with our Terms and Conditions.
1. Scope and Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed by DesignBub through designbub.com and its related contact forms, Creative Shop, cart, checkout, order confirmation, client portal, project communications, subscription services and customer support.
For information collected directly through these activities, DesignBub is generally the organisation responsible for deciding why and how it is used. A separately signed agreement may define different roles for a specific client project, including situations where DesignBub processes information only on a client's instructions.
This policy does not control independent websites, platforms or payment providers that have their own privacy policies.
2. Information We Collect
Identity and contact information
Your name, business name, role, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, billing details, country and any contact information you choose to provide.
Inquiry, account and project information
Project briefs, service interests, budgets, timelines, messages, feedback, approvals, brand materials, uploaded files, account or portal details and other information needed to plan and deliver work.
Order and transaction information
Products or packages selected, quantities, currency, order value, payment method, payment status, payment reference and invoice records. Payments may be completed through Payoneer, a bank or another identified provider. DesignBub does not intentionally collect or store your complete bank-account password, card security code or online-banking credentials.
Technical and usage information
Internet Protocol address, browser and device information, approximate location, referring page, pages viewed, clicks, timestamps, session identifiers, diagnostics and cookie or analytics data.
Preferences and communications
Marketing choices, language or service preferences and records of communications with our team. Please do not send passwords, full payment credentials or sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and we have agreed a secure method.
3. How We Collect Information
- Directly from you: when you submit a form, create or use an account, place an order, provide a brief, upload files, pay an invoice or communicate with us.
- Automatically: when your browser or device interacts with our website, cookies, server logs and analytics tools.
- From clients or authorised contacts: when an organisation adds you to a project or provides your business contact details.
- From service providers: such as payment-status confirmations, website hosting, security, analytics or communication platforms.
- From public business sources: where reasonably necessary to respond to a business inquiry or verify an organisation.
4. How We Use Information
- Respond to inquiries, arrange calls, prepare estimates, proposals and project plans.
- Accept, verify and fulfil Creative Shop, subscription and custom-service orders.
- Create and manage accounts, client portals, files, feedback, approvals and deliverables.
- Issue invoices, confirm manual payments and keep accounting and transaction records.
- Provide support, service updates and important administrative communications.
- Operate, secure, diagnose and improve our website, services and user experience.
- Measure website performance and understand how visitors use our pages.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents and violations of our terms.
- Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests and establish or defend legal claims.
- Send relevant marketing where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law, with an option to unsubscribe.
5. Lawful Bases for Processing
Where data-protection law requires a lawful basis, we rely on the basis that best fits the activity:
| Basis | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Contract | Taking steps at your request, processing an order, managing a project, delivering services and providing support. |
| Legitimate interests | Running and improving our business, website security, service analytics, business communications, fraud prevention and protecting legal rights, balanced against your interests. |
| Consent | Optional marketing, certain cookies or another activity where we specifically ask for permission. Consent may be withdrawn. |
| Legal obligation | Tax, accounting, regulatory, court or lawful authority requirements. |
6. Cookies and Analytics
Our website may use small browser files and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Essential functions: sessions, cart contents, checkout flow, client or admin login and security.
- Performance and analytics: understanding visits, page activity and technical performance. Google Analytics may receive device and usage information when its website tag is active.
- Preferences and embedded services: remembering choices or enabling content supplied by another platform.
You can use available consent controls and browser settings to restrict or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the cart, checkout or secure portal from working correctly. You can also contact us to ask about analytics choices available for your data.
7. When We Share Information
We disclose information only where reasonably necessary and may share it with:
- Website hosting, cloud storage, security, analytics, email and communication providers.
- Payoneer, banks or other payment providers used to process or verify a transaction.
- Team members and specialist contractors who need information to deliver the agreed work and are subject to appropriate confidentiality duties.
- Professional advisers, insurers, auditors and accountants where required.
- Courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or other authorities when disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect rights and safety.
- A buyer, successor or adviser in connection with a genuine business reorganisation, merger or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.
DesignBub does not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Analytics providers may process usage information for their own services, depending on configuration and applicable law.
8. International Data Transfers
DesignBub operates from Pakistan and works with clients and providers in different countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside the country where you live. Where applicable law requires it, we use contractual commitments, provider safeguards or another recognised transfer mechanism intended to protect the information.
9. How Long We Keep Information
We keep information only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose collected, project support, legal claims, security and tax or accounting obligations. Factors include the amount and sensitivity of the information, risk, client instructions and applicable legal requirements.
| Record type | General approach |
|---|---|
| Inquiries and proposals | Until handled, followed by a reasonable business follow-up period. |
| Contracts, orders, invoices and payment records | For the transaction and the period required by accounting, tax and legal obligations. |
| Project files and communications | During the active project and a reasonable support, portfolio or archive period, unless the agreement states otherwise. |
| Portal and account records | While the relationship or account remains active and for a reasonable security and support period afterward. |
| Analytics and server logs | According to security needs, platform settings and provider retention controls. |
When information is no longer required, we delete it, anonymise it or securely isolate it until deletion is possible.
10. Information Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect information, which may include encrypted connections, access restrictions, authentication, backups, update management and limiting access to people who need it.
No website, storage system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and should notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
11. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to:
- Ask whether we process your information and request a copy.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion, restriction or objection to certain processing.
- Receive certain information in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
- Object to direct marketing and unsubscribe from marketing messages.
- Complain to the relevant data-protection authority.
California privacy requests
Where California law applies, eligible residents may also request to know, delete or correct personal information, and may exercise applicable opt-out and non-discrimination rights. DesignBub does not sell personal information for money. We will assess each request under the law that applies.
Send requests to info@designbub.com. We may need to verify your identity or authority before acting. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain if an exception applies.
12. Children's Privacy
Our website and business services are intended for adults and organisations and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information should contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may link to social networks, payment services, file platforms, meeting tools or other websites. Those providers independently control their services and privacy practices. Review their notices before giving them information. DesignBub is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of an independent third party.
14. Automated Processing
We may use automation to route inquiries, organise project details, detect technical misuse or support internal workflows. DesignBub does not ordinarily make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals. If this changes, we will provide any notice and choices required by law.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our services, technology or legal obligations change. The current version will appear on this page with its effective and last-updated dates. Where a change materially affects how we use information, we will provide additional notice where reasonably practical or legally required.
